Software Quality Assurance Technician (Competition 9/QA/2009)

Auto~Star Compusystems Inc. is an international company focusing on retail solutions for pharmacy, grocery and health & nutrition stores across North America. We are seeking personnel to fill a full-time position in our Quality Assurance department. The position involves testing new software releases, written reporting of noted deficiencies, producing end-user documentation, and end-user and second-level support and training.

We are seeking a candidate with:
• A strong working knowledge of computers
• A professional attitude, with a focus on results
• The ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Retail experience would be beneficial

Applicants should be self-starters with an eye for detail, education is an advantage, attitude is imperative. Previous experience in software testing would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
